I found out something very cool. A student at a university in Mexico reached out to me about my B36D flap design. He shared that his professor had been using my designs I have posted on youtube in their studies of Aviation Designs. He then shared that they were given a assignment to design their own B36D flap. It is very humbling to think my designs may be shaping young minds in Aviation.
I am posting a few of the pictures he sent me.
Well the week of April 20th – 26th 2015 saw the entire world descend on Americus GA yet again. SEFF being the biggest Electric fly-in in the world. The Emmaselle is still the 3rd biggest Electric RC Aircraft in the world.
This was the first time since 2012 that I was able to make it back, plus it was the first time I was able to spend the week at SEFF (although I still had meetings with work I had to call in for). Oh, some of these KEWL photos are owned and copyright of Flying Giants.com, and RC Groups.com. The Emmaselle could not win best of show as she had already won that awesome award in 2010. The Emmaselle now has over 275 flights.
