Butch Gatewood

This is Butch and his wife and they are standing in front of a
really cool DC-3. His brother Dave and I were great friends,
unfortunately Dave passed a few years back. Dave is who actually got
me back in to radio controller aircraft around 1990.
Butch retired from Boeing and I think his daughter stills flies 747. He has a J-3 Cub and a Cessna 170 pictured below. He is having a great retirement, he has a house up in Washington for the summer, and one south of Vegas for the winter, the one south of Vegas is the one built on a airpark, instead of a driveway you have taxiways and a runway (pictured below). |
